Training in Quarantine - Day 264
#Another warm-ish day, although it did start raining during my walk, it was only a drizzly rain.
Another warm-ish day, although it did start raining during my walk, it was only a drizzly rain.
Did my walk and the temperature is so much warmer today -- showing 13degC according to the Met Office.
Went for my walk a little earlier and good thing too, it started dribbling with rain on my way back.
Warmer again today, didn't really need hat or gloves.
Warmer, but much wetter. Rained for most of today. Managed to get around 15 minutes walk at least.
Warmer again today, no gloves needed, but still cold enough that I needed my woolly hat.
Temperature was slightly higher today, but still relatively cold with hat and gloves still needed.
Another cold day out there, and my hands and face are starting to dry out and crack from the cold. Needing use of cream to offset that. It's been a while since that has happened.
Another cold, cold day today. We had a Zoom session with family around the world -- Malaysia, Australia and UK, went on for about 90 minutes and then had to finish, as it was getting late on the Australia side of the world.
Missed logging this yesterday as it was Chinese New Year. Really, really, really cold (and even colder when I'm writing this just after an early morning working)
Walked before it got dark and it was absolutely freezing out there. No snow showers, but it definitely felt much colder than recent days.
Less snow showers today, but still bitterly cold. Did my walk today and have tried to start using FitBit's food tracker and maybe return to calorie counting. Last time I tried to use it, it was painfully poor on its food database. So far I've scanned a few things today and it's found everything.
Managed to catch a break between snow showers to go for a walk and deliver some cookies to my aunt in preparation for Chinese New Year.
Also tested my FitBit Pay again to make sure it was working (and it was) -- didn't test it on anything major, just a bar of Snickers to make sure if I lost anything, it would just be on an 80p bar of chocolate.
It was snowing all night and all of today. The snow has settled, covering cars and the pavement. This time the council used their brain cells and put salt on the pavement and roads before it hit, making the pavements mostly clear. Still slippery in some places however.
Also finally got my Ionic working again. Had to update my phone and Google Apps, and fix my Magisk before it seemed to want to pair properly.
It's been snowing all day. Not heavy, just light snow, but not enough to settle.
Went out for my walk, and it was bitterly cold. Weather according to the Met Office is 1degC, with a low of -3degC. Was hat and gloves weather definitely.
Another earlyish walk. Did some quick shopping at the co-op store -- had to queue up in front of the store for that, and then it started raining just as I got home.
Another comfortable walking temperature so no hat/gloves needed.
But it's also warm enough to cause some condensation to leak in my kitchen :(
Another rainy day. Got a walk done in between the showers, and it started to rain on my way back. Didn't get too wet though, so that's okay.
Another wet day, managed to get a brief walk in between rain showers. Though it wasn't that cold, no hat/gloves needed today.
Temperature okay. No gloves or hat today, didn't even need a hood, but the skies were grey and it was raining earlier, so expecting it start raining again any time now.
Temperature dropped today, so gloves and woolly hat were back out.
Early walk, a bit warmer, but still nippy.
Another cool day. Not too cold, so a comfortable walk, but terminated it before it started raining.
Warmer day, no need for gloves or wooly hat.
Did start drizzling a little bit though
Problems with my FitBit Ionic forced me to factory reset, and that even didn't work.
Basically, my Ionic will not connect to my phone after a firmware update. Before the firmware update, I can connect to setup the device, but after the firmware update completes, and the device reboots, it won't connect.
