10-interval run today, with 2-minute run/2-minute walk intervals. Target distance was 5.34 km, ran 7.24km according to Endomondo, 6.87 according to Strava and FitBit
Another 14-interval run today. Got to 4.6 km according to Endomondo, and 4.16 according to Strava
14 intervals today. Damn, 14….
After several days of missed runs due to rain, I finally got a run in, in between bouts of showers.
Strava and FitBit logged this run at 4.66 km, but Endomondo logged it as 5km
Today and yesterday were hot days to run in (~25degC) and today’s run was a 9-interval,
6 of 60sec run/30sec walk and 3 of 30sec run/60sec walk
Bit delayed posting this update. 4 intervals, upped to 2 minutes rather than 1 min.
A wet and miserable weather day today, but still did my run.
No schedule C25K run today, so I went for a lap around the park with the intention of checking my 12-minute test run distance (aka Cooper Test)
Cooper Test: 2.13km, average pace 5:42 min/km. Endomondo shows a blip towards the end, but Strava doesn’t. And they’re both fed from my FitBit and while that does indeed show a blip, it’s not as extreme as the one in the Endomondo feed.
Regarding the test results. According to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coop… my results (2130m sits in the “good” range, but just about (2100-2500)) my record is 3.78km – though that was assisted by a downhill ^_^
Lovely hot day today so a run in the park for my C25K plan with 4x 2 minute run intervals. Although the plan wanted a specific speed, there was no way I could jog that slow. Let’s hope the plan adapts…
Straight walk today, no runs, for 2.80km
So, been a long while since I did any proper training runs, so picked up Endomondo premium again and currently running through a C25K plan.
First run is a 7-interval walk/run
Rainy, windy run today…
But felt nice to be able to last a lap around the park without stopping.
Average pace 6:01 min/km
2.93km at just under 6:00/km
Sunday Run, made the 5km, but trying barely made the top of the steep hill on my 5km route (which is the 3km mark on the chart below).
Guess I’d better get back to training that hill….
Sometimes you have good run days, others you have bad days.
8th April run was definition a bad run day. Only lasted about 2.3km in, then started walk-running :(
Overall average pace was 7:14 according to Strava. My worst pace for a long time :(
I shortish run today (even though I’m posting a day late) 2.74km at 5:58min/km. Felt a comfortable pace. Looks like 5:30-6:00min/km is my comfort pace which I will probably keep using as foundation.
This isn’t an April Fool’s joke (even though I’m posting a day late)
Ran 5km, although the last km was more walking. I’m way out of shape so just trying to get to being able to get 5km down. Then maybe I’ll pickup ParkRuns again.
First run for a while and made one lap, my normal 5K although it tracked on FitBit as just shy of 5K for some reason.
The last km was a bit of trouble for me, but I managed a reasonable pace until then
So @Fitbit seemed to be having trouble syncing my runs (although it did manage to sync my stats for some reason)
A full uninstall, data/cache clear and reinstall seems to have fixed that.
Did a run yesterday and made it just about 5K (4.98km actually) and dropped to a walk a few times en route. However, went my old hill climb route and made the hill part without stopping.
I’m interleaving my runs with FitBit Coach now to try to slim down a bit. FBC is actually harder than it seems….
Forgot to log this yesterday. Ran 4.43km yesterday at average pace of 5:49/km. Higher than normal, but caused me to drop to walk a few times.
Ran a different route - one which was nearly a 5km (the loop itself is 4.12 km) – and actually broke my record on that, doing the 4.12km loop in 22:34.
Just shy of 5K today. :(
1 big lap (~1.8km) and two small laps (~0.7km each) of my local park. 3.67 km
Forgot to log this yesterday
5.05km today. And generally a bit faster, although I was pretty tired to begin with..
